The Singing Game Engine (SGE) SDK is a Karaoke Middleware and provides a complete solution to develop karaoke / singing games. The solution takes care of the whole voice related production process of a singing game and includes on the engine side a scoring solution and a full sound pipe.   

 

The key characteristics of the scoring are a set of independent modules including:

  • Melody and rhythm scoring
  • Lyrics scoring
  • Rap or spoken voice scoring
  • Adjusts to difficulty levels including presets
  • Reliability thanks to the high precision pitch detection and anti-cheat system
  • Multiplayer capability allowing up to 4 microphones simultaneously on a Nintendo Wii, Sony PS3 or Microsoft XBox

 

The SGE SDK provides a full sound pipe:

  • Multiple microphone I/O management 
  • Optimized audio signal acquisition 
  • Multiple tracks audio mixer to mix players voice channels and music playback
  • Audio effects to allow players to change their voice

Some other confidential features are also available or in development.

 

The whole solution is fully cross platform allowing smooth cross plat-form development and is available on Nintendo Wii, Sony PS3, Microsoft Xbox 360, PC, Nintendo DS and DSi, and iPhone.

 

The solution is the core of the 4 microphones Karaoke Game, We Sing by Nordic Games and of the Mindscape / Universal Music U-Sing Karaoke game.
